Summer Sun, Wandering Reverie

Essay 605 • Sep 15th 2025

Some of my favorite days are spent photographing an old friend. Time seems to stretch—slow and generous. We trade stories between frames, laugh at the little things, and discover new corners of the world together. There’s wardrobe to mix and match, props to toss around—but best of all? The freedom to chase ideas. It feels less like work and more like being a kid again—skating, hula-hooping, and running wild. And at the heart of it all, someone I trust: kind, uplifting, and always down for the ride.
