The Photographic Journal

To be, Polyphony

Essay 99 • Jan 2nd 2017

To be able to style, share, reflect, get familiar with a new muse each session is very important for my photography. I unconventionally get inspired by my subject first, then create the concept. Every photo session is personally altered to my muse of the day. Being able to harmonize my subjects personal style with my styling technics is the reason photography is something I want to do for the rest of my life. To be able to catch a variety of emotions and angles really humanizes my photo sessions.

I am able to get really close and personal on my subject's face and trace every beautiful feature that they have with my lens. "The style of simultaneously combining a number of parts, each forming an individual melody and harmonizing with each other." Is to be polyphony.
