The Rise of a Woman

Essay 121 • Mar 8th 2017

The Rise of a Woman is a story that represents the power of the female in the brightest light. We still seem to have an archaic view in media where women are often misrepresented as physical objects. We need to change that. I want to embody the resilience of women through this series, with color, elegance and confidence. Since we seem to still be fighting some of the same battles that were happening in the 1970's, I think it's important to rise above with a positive message. The Rise of a Woman = The Rise of a Nation.
