The Owner Behind the Mask

Discovering early in life that a camera could grant me access to things I'd never normally experience, I quickly fell in love with documenting and exploring some of New York City's many subcultures. While on assignment for a client, I discovered there was a whole event dedicated to pet fashion. Being a photojournalist who loves to capture fashion and portraits this seemed liked the perfect opportunity to truly create something unique. 

















 

Colby Blount is a fashion and portrait photographer who grew up in rural Georgia, who now calls New York City home. He discovered photography as young as middle school and always knew this is what he was meant to do. It wasn’t until after college he hit his stride and really started to hone his skills, continuously growing and learning his craft.
