An English summer - where time lingers in the scent of roses and honeysuckle and in the hush of late afternoon light. Nestled in overgrown gardens and sunlit corners, the body softens, breath slows, and memory drifts like petals on warm air. This photo essay is an ode to stillness, to presence, and to the quiet, fleeting beauty that blooms when we allow ourselves to be held by the natural world.
Olivia Burgess is a French-American photographer, director, and movement artist based between London and New York. An internationally acclaimed model and dancer, her years in front of the camera have shaped a deeply intuitive visual language – one rooted in embodiment, sensitivity and transformation. Guided by the moving body, her work explores the thresholds between presence and performance, stillness and motion.
