Sound of Silence

Essay 53 • Jul 25th 2016

Sound implies a duration. Sound needs time. Photography, as a visual medium, is a capture of fixed moments. Photography is silent. How can you translate sound on an image? How can you show the inner music, the screams of emotions, the background noises? How can you be heard on a photograph? What do your face, your eyes, your body say?
