Somewhere

Essay 372 • Feb 28th 2019

It was a rainy day in downtown Los Angeles. The sun was buried behind the clouds and the sidewalks were full of puddles. On the ninth floor there was a room full of patterns and an empty fridge. We stayed for a spell. Somewhere along the way home I passed a car on fire.
