Kayla Varley is an American fashion, lifestyle, and beauty photographer and director based in Los Angeles.

She was born in 1991 in Bakersfield, CA and at the age of 13 she was given a tiny camera and began to document her teenage life. Over the years she worked to develop her style whilst growing up in a small town with few options for creative outlets and it became all she wanted to do. In 2010, she moved to Los Angeles to attend Art Center College of Design. She then began working in Los Angeles and New York, and in 2017 started working regularly in London on assignment.

Kayla’s recent work focuses most on fashion, beauty, lifestyle and motion. Her work explores the intimacy and connection with another human and touches on emotions through color, expression and kinetic movement. Her work is about finding the joy in the unexpected and there is a playfulness that is woven through her work. She has an eye for unique and diverse beauty and has a knack for connecting with talent quickly and with ease.
