In the Shallows

Summer. Morning. North Miami Beach.

I cajoled an early morning meetup with my friend and fellow photographer, Melanie. Armed with a couple of rolls of Atlanta Film Co.'s newest addition to their lineup 50D, I knew the bright Florida sun would be the perfect match.

We waded through the shallows, cameras in hand – and even sacrificed a light meter to the saltwater – all in the quest to capture a touch of magic on film. This photo essay is our tribute to sea foam, Saturday mornings, and sandy beaches.
