In the Meantime, In Between Time

Essay 480 • May 3rd 2021

It was a windy, sun-soaked day at treasure island. In the distance, the cityscape of San Francisco played as a reminder of what a beautiful world we live in. The moment was set.

Working with Julie (@jiggityjewelz ) & Emma (@emmaheedles) was such a delight. What was supposed to be just a simple test shoot turned out to be one of my favorite sets I've ever shot. The creative energy flowed so well off of one another and together we made images that I'm extremely proud of. It's moments like this that make me excited about what I do.

My name is Alister Mori and I’m a photographer/visual artist living in Los Angeles. Originally from the Bay Area, I moved out here at the beginning of the year to turn my love for photography into a full-time profession. Ever since I was young, I’ve always had a picture-esque imagination and would see thoughts as images. Being behind the lens allows me to express my ideas in my own way with my own touch. I’m extremely grateful to work with such creative people and I’m so excited to see where my art takes me. Creating art is the fuel for my life and I enjoy every second of it.
