Horses in the Back

This photo series highlights the true African American rodeo experience on 35mm film, in Atlanta, GA at the Bill Pickett 36th anniversary rodeo. I personally did not know that this community existed and when I found out, I knew I immediately had to make it my next project. The energy that surrounded this event was remarkable and I am thankful I was able to capture it for others to see.
