These photos were taken on the land I grew up on, in rural Minnesota. The fields and forest behind my country home hold a special sort of magic in my heart. 

Through her expressionistic poses and strong energy, Nya transported me back to the times I remember, running through the fairytale lands. 
My sister and I frolicked through these same fields chasing deer, built fairy houses, and watched the clouds role by as we fantacized over our futures. 

Nostalgia for these memories run through my veins like gold.
