Hidden Treasure

Essay 137 • Apr 21st 2017

A good friend of mine referred me to Brynn, owner of Aralda Vintage, to possibly work together. As soon as I saw her work, I fell in love with her style and was very eager to collaborate! Brynn is not only a great stylist, but a very gifted hunter in the safari search for great vintage pieces. Working together, getting to see just part of her curated collection of amazing finds and gems, you can see that when it comes to good discoveries (new or thrifted), one man's toss is truly another man's treasure, and by the end of the day it was a treasure I hoped to discover myself too!

We were both really drawn to our muse for the day, Courtney, who is so laid back and cool, any piece she threw on really suited her! Maegan, our lovely hair/makeup artist, had just happened to fly into town that day. It was a miracle that she was available! Brynn and I had been trying to get shoot schedules together for a while, and some way it all seemed to align that day.

Here are some photos of my friend Courtney looking effortless in everything from rainbow sweaters, to plaid pants and vintage dresses!
