Heather Hazzan and Lily Cummings are good friends, photographers and business partners. They wanted to explore the complex balance of control between creators by obscuring the line between photographer and subject.

Genera (plural for Genus... we were both named after flowers... our genus names are Calluna & Lilium... synonymous to subfamily/division, etc.)
