Ellissa & Harry

Essay 410 • Oct 7th 2019

I’m hardwired for anxiety, but I’ve never let it hold me back. I’ve been in Los Angeles for a few years now and I always let inspiration take me along for the ride. I’ve become a product of my surroundings and I’ll take my camera anywhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small alley, a makeshift studio, or a tiled bathroom at a home in East Los Angeles—I’ll make it work. Plus, I’ll have some fun. For this shoot, I had all that and more with a wonderful subject who brought her own sense of style and confidence. Oh, and a snaggletooth puppy.
