Consumption

Essay 38 • May 27th 2016

‘CONSUMPTION’ was shot primarily on film by Oakland photographer Catalina Havlena. Catalina & perma-muse // collaborator May Daniels explore the juxtaposition of public and private and the place where the two meet. Syphoning many visions into one tale, the duo slip themselves into the daily movement of life, hyper-aware of the public eye, the obsoletion of privacy and the manic call of consumerism all around.
