It's about closeness. A closeness that comes from two people trusting and enjoying each other's company. Spending time, putting yourself in a position to be able to be yourself and document that. The closeness of friendships. The value of people.

It was loose and fun to wander around over the course of a few days and try to capture Porter in her moments. It's one thing to be around someone and see their movements or their expressions and demeanor, it's still quite another to capture a still frame of those things. But they certainly are connected... as we all are.

I am a graphic designer who became fascinated with photography after acquiring a Pentax K1000 from a thrift store several years
ago. Since then I’ve been a big fan of making images. Trying to
