The Finals

Essay 40 • Jun 10th 2016

“The Finals“, is a body of work that captures the strange and surreal environment of the Westminster Kennel Club's closing event at Madison Square Garden. Being my first time at the event, I aimed to show the pure chaos, over dramatic tension, and serious attitude that occurs at occasion centered around something as playful as puppies. These images capture everything from the close up faces of dogs getting ready, the insane prep work before the show, and every odd detail in between.
