Sudden Death

Essay 272 • Apr 2nd 2018

These pictures show the intense times our family has gone through in the last five months regarding death and poor health. While I understand photographing death seems morbid, after these two funerals I was able to see the beauty in the sadness. People coming together who haven’t spoken in years, relationships being mended, and life not being taken for granted. My only message through this essay is to tell the ones you love, that you love them before they die and cannot hear your kind words spoken at the funeral.
