Pink Lady

Whenever I think of my Nana, I think of the color pink. Not in the feminine sense, but in the fact that her bedroom, in totality, is pink. Her room is a different world, a space that is totally hers, separate from the rest of her apartment. When entering, one is overcome with a sense of serenity and lightness; her bedroom, in essence, is a portrait of her.

















 

 

Rachel Cabitt is an NYC based photographer and web designer splitting her time between photographing young, like-minded artists and attending too many concerts per week. A recent graduate of the Photography & Imaging Department at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she is currently Digital Director of POND Magazine.
